The North East region of India has always been one of the most elusive in terms of motorcycle adventure rides. Comprising of ‘The Seven Sister States’ of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura, there is so much on offer here for adventure motorcyclists like us.
Covering an area of 255,511 square kilometres, this region has a halo effect on local as well as international motorcycle riders. Its remoteness, pristine wilderness and lack of mainstream motorcycling mentions is what draws riders to it.
Month of travel is crucial. October rides are to explore and experience the local Monpa Culture. Winter rides in January, throws up a frozen road challenge for the hard core adventure rider.
Red Panda Adventures is one of the few established and well-known motorcycle tour operators in this region, catering to local as well as international riders. We have a local team who know this region well, allowing us to serve you and organize our rides with utmost care and planning.
Pricing is based on twin sharing basis (2 riders, 1 room). For single occupancy (1 rider, 1 room), please email us on email@example.com
Riding in the North East is a lot of fun and promises adventure around every bend. Formed over millions of years, the Himalayas and it’s foothills command and deserve respect. We try our best to inform our clients of all the possible challenges they might face and also of all the key highlights and attractions along the way. However, the ultimate responsibility of safety lies with the riders.
This trip is not ideal for someone who has just started riding. The terrain, culture and remoteness may get a bit overwhelming at times, but stay with it to get your adrenalin fix.
We want you to soak in all the wonders this ride has to offer. So the schedule allows for many stops along the way for photographs and chit chat. There are a multitude of ‘chai’ stops along the way but we aim to start and finish the ride each day while the sun is up.
The accommodation and food we provide is best one can get in these remote tribal villages. We do expect our clients to set their expectations accordingly. Luxury in this part of the world is relative to the terrain and needs a bit of adjusting.
What a great experience it's been renting a motorcycle from Red Panda. Inspite of the fact that I'd only signed up for renting a motorcycle, these guys went all out helping me plan the entire ride. Not just that, they were only a call away throughout the 20 days of my trip, helping me sort the minor troubles I faced with the motorcycle while on the road. For anyone who's planning to travel the northeast region of India, I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend renting a motorcycle/signing up for an organised motorcycle tour with these guys. Thank you so much Bala & team for helping me plan a ride I'm gonna cherish for the rest of my life. CheersRead More
I can only highly recommend Red Panda Adventure. They took such good care of me and my family whilst we were touring from Chandigarh to Leh. Always accommodating, always caring - with wonderful places to explore and hotels to rest.
The best you can get on two wheels...
Friendly and experienced riders. If your’re looking for a premium motorcycle tour/experience and an adventure on two-wheels — hit up Red Panda Adventures. Their rides will help you “escape the ordinary”, and it is worth every penny!
I totally got more than I had expected on their Enchanting Tawang ride in Feb 2019. With the help of their knowledge of the area, they had selected some of the most exciting routes which resulted in an intoxicating mix of Fun, Pleasure, Thrills on each day of the ride! All that you want out of something that is labelled as an Adventure Ride. The choice of the RE Himalayan as the motorcycles could not have been better either, it just did everything that you expect! Do I recommend Red Panda rides to other riders? - Whole heartedly. Will I take another ride with Red Panda Adventures myself? - Sure. I certainly hope that Red Panda cooks up some more equally exciting rides in that fabulous part of the world, called the Seven Sister states of India (NorthEast India).Read More
